Bob,

I don't know what that is exactly :).

I've been on vacation for a week, and everyone is trying really hard
pushing on some other code at the moment, so we haven't integrated all the
patches that have flown our way lately. The symlink patches are in, but
there do seem to be some problems with them. They're in CVS if you want
to try them out.

I haven't integrated any of Don's permission fixes yet. Those are
no-brainers from my perspective, except that I do want to have a quick
look over everything before integrating (mainly because the metadata code
is so crufty!).

I've also got a reserved port patch from Jim Schutt that is on the list
(actually this one is at the head of the list).

And there's Murali's stuff for signals ... the list goes on. I suppose I
should just drop this stuff in and hope someone tests it :)? That's the
problem right now; even if I did get the patches in, it would be a little
while before the team here could do comprehensive testing.

But none of that stuff has been forgotten!!!

Rob
