Hi Mahesh,

I would suggest trying to move your patches forward to the newer version, 
but I understand if you don't want to do that.  If you're going to 
continue to work on a fixed version of a software package (such as PVFS), 
I would suggest that you not upgrade other system components around it, at 
least no more than necessary for security fixes.

Otherwise I suggest you going to this page and searching for "mkmgrconf":

Finally, if you're capable of hacking on the mgr, you could create the
files by hand without too much trouble; just have a quick read of the
User's Guide for the formats and tools.
