[PVFS-users] pvfsd dying

Hello All,
After successful PVFS installation on 6 CPUs (acting
as clients), 1 PC node, 2 IO nodes and 1 manager node, 
I found this morning that the pvfsd is no longer running
on the CPUs. I would still be able to go to /mnt/pvfs
and ls the files and directories but not able to read
them. It just hangs. 

How to prevent this behavior? I suspect it would be normal.
Also, could it be a good idea to write a script that would
check if pvfsd is running every say 5 mins, and if not,
would restart it?
