[PVFS-users] creating file .........

Hi Mahesh,

We should keep this conversation on the mailing list.

The #1 reason why people see the behavior you are seeing is because they 
have old versions of utilities on some nodes and new ones on others.

Has the PVFS volume been in place for some time?  If not, why did you 
choose to run 1.6.0?  Are you responsible for the installation?  Have you 
checked to see if the binaries are actually the same on these different 
nodes?

Do basic networking tests work ok?
