[PVFS-users] mkmgrconf giving problem

Surely the machine doesn't hang, only mkmgrconf hangs - it is only a
perl script.  1.6.0 is very old (it was released in July 2003), you
should download and try 1.6.3.  It appears that the bug you hit was
fixed in August 2003.
