      I've been trying to compile PVFS-1 on RedHat 9 (Professional) - I'm
hoping someone else on this list has seen this error and knows how to work
around it:

gcc -MMD -I/lib/modules/2.4.20-6/build/include -I.

-I./libkpvfs/kinclude -I./libkpvfs/klib -I./libkpvfs/kshared

-I./libkernsys/include -O2 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -DMODULE

-D__KERNEL__ -DLINUX -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing

-mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -DARCH_X86 -DPVFS_SERIALIZE_DCACHE -c

pvfsdev.c -o pvfsdev.o

pvfsdev.c: In function `sig_setmask':

pvfsdev.c:1002: structure has no member named `sig'

pvfsdev.c:1007: structure has no member named `sigmask_lock'

pvfsdev.c:1010: too many arguments to function

`recalc_sigpending_Rfb6af58d'

pvfsdev.c: In function `sig_setunmask':

pvfsdev.c:1025: structure has no member named `sigmask_lock'

pvfsdev.c:1027: too many arguments to function

`recalc_sigpending_Rfb6af58d'

make: *** [pvfsdev.o] Error 1

The kernel is 2.4.20-6

The pvfs is version 1.6.2, with the Jan patch applied

I'm trying to compile the pvfs-kernel-1.6.2-linux-2.4 code

I've already configured and build the kernel

I can compile just fine on Mandrake 10's 2.4.25-6 kernel, but we need to use
RedHat for this application

Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

      Thanks,

      - Brannen
