[PVFS-users] Re: PVFS access hangs

             Rob,

             Thanks for your help - turns out it was a configuration issue,
just not an obvious one.  The .iodtab file is correct, however the
/etc/hosts files I had set up were resolving to loopback addresses for
machines in the cluster, depending on which machine was running as Manager.
That's why the Manager machine could access the PVFS file systems but not
others - it was doing the host name resolution for the cluster in effect.

             I'm also going to try applying the patches that Murali sent as
well, but it seems my current problem is solved.
