[PVFS-users] Please helped... Newbie with PVFS.

I am installing pvfs 1.6.3 onto ROCKS 3.2.0 cluster.
1)
I had followed through the user-guide through online. I had completed the 
steps till step 4.4(Installing and configuring clients).
I had done the following steps in the head node:
[root at frontend-0 /]# mkdir /pvfs
[root at frontend-0 /]# ls -ald /pvfs
[root at frontend-0 /]# mknod /dev/pvfsd c 60 0
mknod: '/dev/pvfsd': File exists <--Does it matter? As this file exist, i 
continue the following step.
[root at frontend-0 /]# ls -l /dev/pvfsd
crw-------  1 root  root  253, 0 Oct 20 13:32 /dev/pvfsd

2)
I had also tried to start PVFS servers in user-guide step 5.1
there are some command as follow(shown in the guide):
[root at n1 /root]# /usr/local/sbin/iod
[root at n1 /root]# ls -l /tmp
total 5
-rwxr-xr-r  1 root  root  82 Dec 18 18:2 iolog.n2MjK4

I did the above step on the frontend node(head) it works and return me the 
result. But when i typed # /usr/local/sbin/iod onto the compute node(slave), 
it return:
-bash: /usr/local/sbin/iod: No such file or directory
What's wrong with that?
