[PVFS-users] Newbie in PVFS. Unable to mount PVFS

hi,

I had tried to install PVFS 1.6.3. I had followed the user guide online till 
step 5.2 Getting a client connected.
When i entered [root at frontend-0/root]# mount.pvfs frontend-0:/pvfs-meta 
/mnt/pvfs, the system stopped there for a very long time. I pressed Ctrl C 
to stop the process, then entered [root at frontend-0/root]# mount.pvfs 
frontend-0:/pvfs-meta /mnt/pvfs again and it returned:
mount.pvfs: Invalid argument
mount.pvfs: server 10.1.1.1 alive, but mount failed (invalid metadata 
directory name?)

So i entered another command, [root at frontend-0/root]# /sbin/mount.pvfs 
frontend-0:/pvfs-meta /mnt/pvfs again and it returned:
mount.pvfs: server10.1.1.1 not responding, still trying
mount.pvfs: server10.1.1.1 not responding, still trying
mount.pvfs: server10.1.1.1 not responding, still trying
mount.pvfs: server10.1.1.1:3000 not responding, giving up

What had happend???
