[PVFS-users] Running shell scripts off pvfs file system?

It is my understanding that PVFS does not support running executables
off a PVFS file system.  I've heard that sometimes it works, sometimes
it doesn't.  Is this true?

If so, what about bash scripts (or any other interpreted script for
that matter)?  Does PVFS support executing bash/perl/python/etc scripts
that reside on PVFS?  Would these be considered executables?
