[PVFS-users] pvfs becoming unavailable/deathly slow

He might want to upgrade to a newer version (Doesn't rocks ship with
1.6.0?).  1.6.3 is going to contain fixes which can make the ls times a
lot less painful.  Also, passing the --enable-fast-stats option to
configure can result in those ls's becoming a _lot_ faster when the
files aren't opened by anyone.
