[PVFS2-developers] PVFS2 release: pvfs2-1.1.0

After over 6 months of development and nearly 200 changesets, the
PVFS2 development team is pleased to announce pvfs2-1.1.0. 

This release has added quite a few bug fixes, improvements, and
additional features since our last release.  Please see the ChangeLog
in the source distribution for a more extensive (but probably not
complete) list of changes.  If you were one of our early adopters, you
are strongly encouraged to upgrade.  If you were waiting for us to
shake out all the bugs and do a .1 release, now is a fine time to give
PVFS2 a try. 

As with every release, we have received many patches, suggestions, and
bug reports from collaborators and users.  Thanks for the
contributions, and keep them coming.
