Hey folks, Don is going to turn off our firewalls and turn on the
new firewall/VLAN setup first thing tomorrow morning.  This should
take him about a minute, and in the event it breaks, can be undone
just about as fast.  The new firewall rules are such that everything
should work as before (even your stuff Dan and Harlan).  THe one
possible difference being that SSH logins will be restricted to a
few machines, including parlweb (for CVS), our login server
named "cerberus.parl.clemson.edu", and some of the CAEFF machines.

If you have trouble with SSH check with me and we'll see if there is
a solution or if the rules need to be augmented.

This is a warning.  Hopefully you will never know that the change
has happened, but you might want to prepare yourself by syncing
with CVS or whatever you feel is required.  And of course, if you
experience problems, speak up so we can get them resolved.
