[PVFS2-developers] date on server

Hi,

on testing my new BMI method I used a MPI2 program which write creates a 
files and do some other stuff. When I use pvfs2-ls on the dir I get this 
output:

gumdrop:~/pvfs2/src/apps/admin # ./pvfs2-ls -alh /mnt/pvfs2-gamma
drwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            4.0K 1970-00-04 07:20 .
drwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            4.0K 1970-00-04 07:20 .. (faked)
drwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            4.0K 2005-02-07 17:02 lost+found

Why is the date set to (almost) UNIX time zero?
