[Pvfs2-developers] Flow-control at the BMI method layer

Hi all,

I will be working on the MX method for BMI. How do the current  
methods ensure that a single sender does not overwhelm the receiver?  
Is flow control handled by using a limited number of send buffers  
(thus limiting the number of messages in flight)? Or by passing  
tokens between hosts?
