[Pvfs2-developers] kernel gossip on linux 2.4

I think there are two minor updates needed for the 2.4 kernel to build 
properly with the new gossip updates:

- the Makefile.in in src/kernel/linux-2.4/ needs to have the 
EXTRA_CFLAGS variable updated to match the linux-2.6 Makefile.in (to add 
the path to gossip)

- the 2.4 kernel code path somehow got an extra call to pvfs2_panic() in 
super.c.  This isn't defined anywhere.  Was this accidentally committed 
with the gossip changes?
