[Pvfs2-developers] About state machines

Dear All,
 
I'm trying to modify PVFS for my small experiment but I'm not familiar with the state machine codes (.sm files). 
 
Of course I read the part of 'Writing State Machines' in the 'add-server-req' file but I'd like know that "Is there any detail document about state machine codes?"
