Hi Wesley,
We don't currently have any code that works with PVFS v.2 and does
certificate style authentication or authorization based on a uid
mapping. There is some research going on in this area, but I'll let
others comment that are closer to those projects.

The SFS project looks interesting. You might be able to hijack most
of their core functionality and just replace the parts that use NFS
with PVFS. If there is any help we can provide with how PVFS works,
let us know.
