[Pvfs2-developers] cvs commit and storage spaces

Hi all,

If you've been using pvfs2 from cvs recently, you'll need to re-
create your storage spaces if you update and rebuild.

I just made a commit to cvs earlier today that allows the dspace
database to use a comparison function for keys that we define. Phil
has found that this improves performance of the operations made to
the dspace db. The change prevents the new code in cvs from being
able to read already-created storage spaces.

Note that this won't affect users that created storage spaces from a
previous release of pvfs2. The migration utility will still work to
convert those storage spaces to the new format.

Thanks,

-sam
