Hi Dharani,

Yes and yes.  :-)  There are different pieces of the PVFS client (VFS  
kernel module, client daemon, client interfaces), all of which  
provide the ability to have multiple outstanding IO requests.  I can  
give you a more detailed answer on the parts you're interested in.
