[Pvfs2-developers] SSL symbols and PVFS2

Hello,

 Has there been any thought on trying to drag in the symbols from openssl
needed for pvfs into the pvfs2.a archive?  Would a quick --add-needed flag
to the linker do it, or is that just fantasy on my part.  I understand why
it would be bad to do it for a pvfs shared lib, but if you're using the
static library, at some level the expection has to be that you aren't also
forcing in symbols for the openssl shared object?

  I mention this, because I'm having to work around pvfs/openssl
difficulties with this in hdf5, and flash IO.  Not huge problems, but not
beginner level stuff either.
