[PVFS2-users] Questions on Installing PVFS2 on a cluster

There are reasons for using a 2.6.x kernel when you have a newer
userspace, but you should be fine with a 2.4.20 kernel.

Repartitioning is not strictly necessary.  PVFS2 can point at any
directory for its storage space.
