has some information about configuring MPICH2 for PVFS2 support.
When your MPI-IO program opens a file, it should prefix the file name
with "pvfs2:". You do not need to have the PVFS2 file system mounted
through the VFS, but you should add an entry for PVFS2 to your
/etc/fstab.
Are you asking how to configure ROMIO with PVFS2 support, or are you
asking how to tell an MPI-IO application to use PVFS2 routines?
