[PVFS2-users] Question: relation between PVFS2 and MPI-IO

Hi all,

Could anyone explain to me how pvfs2 and mpi-io interact each other? 
It's not clear to me when and how pvfs2 gets activated for mpi-io 
functions. Say, if my program issues MPI_File_write_all, will 
pvfs2-server play some role underneath? Thank you for your time.
