I've finally got round to trying Murali's patches, and am having the
same ".sm" compilation errors when applying patches to 1.3.0. The
perms.patch mentioned in another thread also won't patch against 1.3.0

I've tried checking out the latest CVS, but it seems these patches have
already gone in. Any chance of a 1.3.1 release soon with just these
couple of patches? I'm reluctant to deploy a CVS version - I'd just like
working timestamps and permissions :-)

If I may make a very modest contribution, could the attached patch be
applied to the toplevel Makefile.in, only my RPM build system for pvfs2
complains about library locations for x86_64?
