I don't have too much experience with rocks but I'll assume setting up
pvfs2 is more or less the same as anywhere else.

Ok, what specifically are you unclear about?  I think any
rocks-specific setup is limited to providing you with the binaries.
That is, i don't know of any rocks-specific "pvfs2 config tool". 

Start with pvfs2-genconfig.  It will prompt you for some information
and generate one cluster-wide config file (e.g. 'fs.conf') and one
machine-specific config file for each pvfs2 host (e.g.
'server.conf-compute24').
