Hi Jian Yi

can you tell the entire list a little bit more about the problems you
are having?  Off-list, you mentioned that you get an error with
pvfs2-ping.  

I'd like to suggest two steps: first, if you are not doing so already,
try out our latest release (1.5.1).  Second, if you are getting an
error with pvfs2-ping, please send the output of that command.
