It looks like configure isn't correctly defining __powerpc64__, so a  
bunch of the kernel feature checks fail due to undefined errors.   
Unfortunately it doesn't work to set it by hand (CFLAGS=- 
D__powerpc64__), because that causes the check for aio to break.  I  
don't know that there's a clean workaround for this at the  
moment...it seems like the powerpc64 headers in 2.6.21 aren't cleanly  
defined, but maybe we just need to add the right include path.
