I am having a problem of using the pvfs2 Linux kernel. I wonder if it
works on Fedora 8. I used a simple MPI-IO program to create a file in
pvfs2 first, Then command pvfs2-ls shows the file OK, but not command ls.
% pvfs2-ls -l /pvfs2/wkliao/file.dat
-rw-r--r-- 1 wkliao users 262144 2008-01-22 18:34 file.dat
% ls -l /pvfs2/wkliao
ls: cannot access /pvfs2/wkliao/file.dat: No such file or directory
total 0
?????????? ? ? ? ? ? file.dat
My machine is:
% uname -a
Linux d1.data 2.6.23.9-85.fc8 #1 SMP Fri Dec 7 15:49:36 EST 2007 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I would like mention that configuring and building pvfs2 are fine. So is
the kernel. MPI-IO programs run fine on pvfs2, too.
