Try ethtool

mhdmobile lts # ethtool -h 
...
       -k --show-offload
              Queries the specified ethernet device for offload information.

       -K --offload
              Changes the offload parameters of the specified ethernet device.

       rx on|off
              Specifies whether RX checksumming should be enabled.

       tx on|off
              Specifies whether TX checksumming should be enabled.
...

mhdmobile lts # ethtool -k eth0
Offload parameters for eth0:
rx-checksumming: on
tx-checksumming: on
scatter-gather: on
tcp segmentation offload: on
udp fragmentation offload: off
generic segmentation offload: off

(mine is 09:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5752
Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 02)
