[Pvfs2-users] pvfs2-server doesn;t create pvfs2.pid

Hello users

I am using pvfs2 on linux kernel version 2.6.9 and 2.6.18.
In both pvfs2-server doesn't create a pvfs2.pid file under /var/run.
I recompiled the binary but the problem still persists.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
