[Pvfs2-users] Help: pvfs2-server won't start, errors detected

Hi all:
So I've managed to get orangefs-2.8.5 built against db-4.8.30. I've
got it installed, and have started all three of my pvfs2 servers with
this server software installed. As far as I can tell, all three
servers have started correctly.
On a seperate client machine, with a pvfs2tab file, I can run
pvfs2-ping, pvfs2-ls, etc, and it looks good so far and appears to
work.
However, when I attempt to mount the directory, it fails. It appears
to me that pvfs2-client[-core] is exiting immediately upon start with
no trace/log/anything. I start them like I once did, but then they
don't show up in ps, and when I attempt to continue with the mounting,
I get a connection timed out. I can telnet to port 3334 with the
hostname its attempting to use, so it doesn't appear to be a
networking-level issue. This is further supported by the pvfs2-ls
command working.
Are there any new tricks required to get pvfs2-client[-core] to run
with the newer versions?
Thanks!
